First Training is a Success!

The first three day training wrapped up and was a success! Mentors and students expressed a desire for more opportunities like this. Special thanks to the volunteers from the Alliance for Community Journalism, the Boston Globe, Write Boston, and all the students who attended the three days.
First GBYND Trainings Kick-Off Next Week at the Boston Globe

Sign up for the intro level journalism training class. Trainings will be held at the Boston Globe for three Saturdays from 10am-2pm on March 29th, April 5th, and April 12th. Accessible by public transportation by taking the Boston Globe shuttles from the JKF stop on the red line. To sign-up email gbynd@mac.com. Boston area high school students are encouraged to participate in this free training.
